Our Policies

Class Placement

Class placement is primarily determined by the age of a child.  In classes with varying ability levels, classes may be restructured by age and ability to optimize the learning experience for all skill levels.  Class placement by ability is at the discretion of Jump Start Gymnastics staff.

Class Cancellations

Inclement Weather: If bad weather develops, tune to local TV stations or their websites for cancellation information. We will attempt to notify students of cancellations when possible. If you are not sure, feel free to call the office. If there is not an employee in the office, the answering machine will have cancellation information on it.

Holiday Breaks: Classes will not meet during scheduled holiday breaks.  Please note session schedules for any holiday class cancellations.

In both cases, make-up classes will be scheduled by the instructors.

Make Up Policy

• The office must be notified in advance if the student is going to miss their original class, in order for them to make up their class.
• Make ups must be scheduled in advance by calling or visiting our office.
• Make ups are scheduled in similar classes that do not have the maximum number of students already registered.
• All make ups must be completed in the session the class was missed.
• Make ups are guaranteed only for classes cancelled or rescheduled by Jump Start Gymnastics. Make ups for classes missed due to an illness or other reasons are not guaranteed.

Annual Fee

All students/families are required to pay a non-refundable annual registration fee of $35/student or $60/family.  This fee is due at the time of registration and is reassessed annually.

Refund Policy

There are no refunds for class fees except in extreme circumstances. All refunds will be made at the discretion of management.

Payment Policy

Payment is due at the time of registration and must be paid before the first class of each session.

Drop Policy

If you wish to discontinue participation in our program, you must come to the Jump Start Gymnastics office to fill out a drop form.

Student Attire

Gymnastics leotards (no skirts) are required for girls.  T-shirts tucked into a pair of comfortable shorts (no buttons, zippers, belts or snaps) are appropriate for boys.  Bare feet are required in the gym.  Hair should be pulled back away from the face.  No jewelry or watches, please.
