Totally Toddler

(walking to 36 months)

Totally Toddler is a movement exploration and education program specifically designed for children who are just beginning to walk through 36 months.  Through instructor led guided play students are exposed to activities that build strength, coordination, spatial awareness, social skills and independence. Our toddler gym, perfectly sized for this age group, provides a fun and safe environment for our youngest students to begin learning gymnastics and celebrate exciting discoveries.

Jungle Gym

(3 to 5 years)

Come tumble in the jungle with us!   Jungle Gym classes offer preschoolers 3-5 years old an awesome opportunity to develop a positive outlook on physical fitness and learn gymnastics in a safe, fun learning environment. Creative circuit-based lesson plans combined with educational themes focus your child’s natural energy while developing strength, flexibility and coordination in addition to promoting cognitive and social development. In addition to learning beginning gymnastics on all men’s and women’s artistic gymnastics events and trampolines, Jungle Gym classes teach other sports-related skills and prepare children for the academic environment. By using scaled down equipment and progressive, age-appropriate development, Jungle Gym classes are an enjoyable experience for every preschool child.

Kids in Motion

Kids In Motion is a sensory/motor/gymnastics program for children of all ages who have physical, mental, emotional, social, language, and/or sensory challenges. Those include but are not limited to:

  • Developmental Delay
  • Attention Deficit
  • Autism
  • Cerebral Palsy
  • Down’s Syndrome
  • Visual Auditory/Speech Deficits
  • Sensory Integration
  • Emotional/Behavioral/Social
  • Hypo/Hyperactivity
  • Coordination
  • Fear of Movement

With guidance from professionals at Easter Seals, this program was developed to provide children with special needs the opportunity to participate in an affordable motor program in addition to therapies, and/or as a recreational activity. It combines sensory stimulation, motor activities and gymnastics to facilitate learning and growth in all aspects of human function.

School Age Girls Gymnastics

(Kindgergarten and up)

Our school age girl’s gymnastics classes focus on teaching a carefully designed curriculum of progressive skills on the women’s artistic gymnastics events – Vault, Uneven Bars, Balance Beam, and Floor as well as on the TumbleTrak and trampolines.   These one hour or 1 ½ hour classes for girls in Kindergarten and older build strength, flexibility, endurance, coordination, and self-confidence while students are learning and having fun with the sport of gymnastics.   Students are encouraged to challenge themselves and given the opportunity to celebrate accomplishments to form a strong sense of self.

 ATTIRE:  Girls must wear a leotard with no skirt attached to it and no tights.  Tight fitting gymnastics shorts are allowed.

What to expect/goals from your class:

The goal of the School Age Girls Gymnastics program is to provide students a quality noncompetitive means to learn the basic fundamental through advanced gymnastics skills using a progressive curriculum called the Rainbow Skill Program.  It allows for easy tracking of skill achievement and level advancement, beginning with the red level and ending with the purple level.  Emphasis is placed on learning proper form and technique for all skills so students can build and progress successfully through the curriculum.

School Age Boys Gymnastics

(Kindergarten and up)

Our school age boy’s gymnastics classes focus on teaching a carefully designed curriculum of progressive skill development on the men’s Olympic events – Vault, High Bar, Parallel Bars, Pommel Horse, Rings, and Floor as well as on the TumbleTrak and trampolines.   These one hour classes develop the building blocks for enhanced participation in any other sport: strength, flexibility, endurance, coordination, and self-confidence while teaching and having fun with the sport of gymnastics.  Students are encouraged to challenge themselves and given the opportunity to celebrate accomplishments to form a strong sense of self.   

Attire:   Boys must wear a t-shirt with shorts that have an elastic waistband with no buttons or zippers, and bare feet.

Tumbling

Our tumbling classes are based on a curriculum of progressive skill development designed to teach each athlete everything they need to know to be a great tumbler.  Several levels of classes are offered to ensure the best instruction for each class.  All classes include a review of basic tumbling skills and elements, drills and instruction for learning new skills, and instruction on the TumbleTrak and trampolines.  These are one hour co-ed classes for boys in girls Pre-K age and up.  

Our objective is to provide children with safe, positive and fun learning experiences! We aim to build strength, flexibility, endurance, coordination, and self-confidence while learning and having fun with the sport of tumbling.  We encourage students to challenge themselves and give them the opportunity to celebrate accomplishments to form a strong sense of self.

Cheerleading

(3yrs and up)

We’ve Got Spirit, Yes We Do! We’ve Got Spirit, How About You?

Our high energy Cheerleading classes will be held on different days of the week depending on the age of your child. Classes will be for one hour one day a week. Your child will learn the basic cheerleading skills needed for school tryouts, for our competition squads (Cheer Stars), and to achieve their own over all goals as a cheerleader while building confidence, trust and character.

What to expect/goals from your class:

We put the “fun” in Cheerleading fundamentals!  Our 60 minute co-ed recreational cheerleading classes are designed to teach progressions in each of the cheerleading skills: motions, jumps, stunting, tumbling, as well as rhythm, cheer, change and dance.  Progress and skill development is tracked and communicated using our own Cheerleading Rainbow Skill Program.  This progressive curriculum naturally encourages students to challenge themselves and gives them the opportunity to celebrate accomplishments.

Ninja Zone

Ninja zone is an all new discipline inspired from Obstacle Course Training, Gymnastis, Street Dance, & Martial Arts. Ninja Zone is offered to boys and girls ages 3-11. Along with high activty flips and tricks our curriculum teaches ConfidenceDisicplineTeam Work, and Impulse Control.

Classes will not meet on the following days: 

  • September 4th – Labor Day

  • October 31st – Halloween

  • November 22nd-26th – Thanksgiving Break

  • December 18th – January 2nd – Holiday Break

  • March 28th - April 1st  – Spring Break

 

Registration is ongoing throughout the  year. You may join at any time. Class fees will be pro-rated.
