Erica Sapinski
Preschool Gymnastcs & Kids In Motion  Director

Erica Sapinski is the preschool gymnastics program director & Kids in Motion program director at Jump Start. Erica has worked full time at Jump Start since October 2008. Erica, who was a recreational and competitive gymnast for 10 years, has been teaching gymnastics and tumbling to students for 15 years. She is a graduate of Drake University and has a master's degree from The Monterey Institute of International Studies. Erica studied in China and was employed at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing. She also worked as a project manager during the Special Olympics and the Paralympics in China. Erica taught gymnastics and coached competitive gymnasts in Monterey CA and Des Moines, IA before returning to the Peoria area.

Erica is a USA Gymnastics University certified instructor with several other certifications from that institution and has attended and completed many workshops, congresses and courses to further her teaching and coaching skills.

Erica loves watching children learn new skills. "It's so much fun to see their faces when they make a new skill for the first time, especially their reaction when they do a skill they have been struggling with and thought they wouldn't ever be able to do."
