At Jump Start Plus, we aim to educate young children in a safe, fun, learning environment, through guided play, experimentation, exploration and discovery. We use the sport of gymnastics and movement activities as a tool to successfully develop healthy happy children with positive self images.

We are excited to announce that Jump Start Gymnastics & Kids Activity Center (JSG) and Central Illinois Tumbling & Trampoline (CITT) have joined forces to create Jump Start Plus.
JSG and CITT have operated independently for 16yrs and 21yrs respectively. Over this time, owners from both organizations collaborated for 10 years to run the St. Jude Benefit Gymnastics & Tumbling Meet, shared staff and other resources. Recent developments have provided the opportunity to merge the businesses and create more movement-based programs and activities with quality instruction for children in central Illinois.
Both organizations share the objective to use the sports of gymnastics, tumbling and other movement based activities to educate children in a safe, fun, learning environment. Together, our number one goal is to develop healthy, strong, flexible bodies and happy children with self- confidence, motivation and positive self-images.
JSG’s reputation for offering quality recreational programming combined with CITT’s reputation for producing world class athletes will create a more well-rounded program for children of all ages and abilities. Our combined programs will offer students a larger more fully equipped tumbling facility, a variety of classes from different programs to choose from, access to more experienced coaches and instructors, and so much more.
Starting August 30th, Jump Start Plus will operate two locations. The current Jump Start Gymnastics & Kids Activity Center building will be home to our gymnastics, ninja, and dance programs. Our new facility, located at 8102 N University, Peoria, IL will be home to our world class recreational and competitive tumbling program.

Create-a-Class: Still have concerns about interacting with individuals outside your “pod”? Consider the “Create-a-Class” option where children who have been social distancing together can create their own class time! Staff are prepared to teach different ages, levels and if possible, programs, to a pod of students at a time that fits into your schedule and ours. Call 309-692-5867 to create your custom class!
Birthday Parties: The wait is officially over! Birthday parties are FINALLY returning to Jump Start this Summer! Parties will be offered on Saturdays at 1:30pm or 3:30pm.
